During the winter, an Arctic Fox camouflages its coat when found on ice floes. A burrow in a hillside or a bank is usually its den. Each den has one or more entrances. They have a circumpolar range. In other words, they can be found throughout the entire Arctic. Canada, Alaska, Iceland, and other locations are examples of where Arctic Foxes can be found. There are about 120 mere arctic fox individual in combined populations such as ] Finland, Norway, and Sweden. Arctic foxes' live in treeless terrain, with temperature ranging between -76 and -68 degrees Fahrenheit yearly. These adaptions allow them to live in such as extreme environment.
